What happens when a medusa decides to look her world in the eye?
Effi is just like any other kid in Parakos– she wants to get through martial arts practice, hang out with her friends, and avoid food poisoning from the mess hall mystery meat. But Effi is a medusa, and no one wants to stand in the lunch line with someone whose stink-eye turns you into stone.
When the Kingdom of Parakos is threatened by another medusa, Effi sees her chance for redemption. But when the second medusa turns out to be nothing like Effi pictured, she has to make a choice: follow the teachings she’s grown up with, or to truly look her world– and herself– in the eye.
GLASS HOUSES is a graphic novel for ages 10 to 14 where She-Ra meets 5 Worlds. It will appeal to fans of The Deep & Dark Blue by Niki Smith and Estranged by Ethan Aldridge. Changing channels is easier than changing houses.

TV-Head Kid (a.k.a. Sammy Kaufwright) is just a regular fourteen-year-old who likes weird hats. He didn’t ask for his life to be turned upside-down… but in his experience, the adults never ask before doing what they want.
A month ago, the Department of Family Services decided it wasn’t safe for him to live with his parents anymore. The Coleman’s are TV-Head Kid’s fourth foster family, and he’s not bothering to unpack his suitcase. The Colemans eat weird food, watch weird shows, and everything is too clean to sit on. The only bright spot is that thirteen-year-old Tavon Coleman is a great co-op gamer.
When TV-Head Kid’s mom begins to talk with him again, he’s faced with a choice… stay angry and safe, or try to change the channel.

THE WALL is a story about the nature of fear, and how children can defeat it.
Ten-year-old Ale lives in a dystopic world, ruled by paranoia and fear. His city is protected by the Wall: a thousand-foot high bulwark of trash. When Ale finds out that something terrible has happened to his mother, he is launched onto a quest that will have greater ramifications than he ever dreamed.
Ale makes friends that help him find his courage, and finds allies in the most unlikely places. Don’t be fooled by appearances… some monsters look like men, and some friends look like monsters.
THE WALL was created and written by Tetiana Khodakivska, and Jeremy Caniglia served as art director for the comic adaptation. THE WALL was a spec project that is still under development.
